Art the Clown is ready to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone has said that several major studios have expressed interest in financing this film based on the unexpected success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a completed script, but he turned them all down because he is certain they would never let him film the opening scene alone, which he describes as “very controversial.” Leone has commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his depiction of horror and gore is because he finances his films independently, creates all of the special effects to keep costs down, and doesn’t have any major studio breathing down his neck to make the film more popular. Mia mentions that the 5-year anniversary of the original massacre was coming up soon, but it happened to be on Halloween, and this film being set on Christmas 5 years later would mean that the anniversary had only passed 2 months ago.
If horror movies aren’t your thing, you’ll probably hate this fine, blood-soaked piece of indie cinema
There is an uncut version of the film that is 2 hours and 25 minutes long with 5 additional scenes. Features Terrifier 2 (2022). A masterpiece Written by Drew Fulk, Joe Occhiuti, Paul Wiley, Spencer Charnas, and Steve Sopchak Starring Ice Nine Kills and Shavo Odadjian.
There’s not much going on in the film in terms of plot
But if you’re a fan of traditional horror movies with creative kills and satisfying performances, this one might just become your favorite so far. In fact, a description of the plot of Terrifier 3 wouldn’t be much longer than a summary of an episode of Friends. Instead of answering the questions from the previous installment, the film only raises more questions for the now confirmed sequel, which may upset some fans but at the same time builds excitement for Terrifier 4.

The production values are miles ahead of the previous films and it’s nice to see Damien Leone improving his craft so much. As for the lead-up to the film’s release, I personally think some of the marketing choices were a bit over the top, such as the release of an official hotline, but that doesn’t detract from the quality of the film itself. Overall, the film is an improvement over the previous installments and will definitely satisfy you if you’re a Terrifier/slasher fan.
