Series adaptation of the James Patterson novels about the complicated and brilliant detective Alex Cross
Aldis Hodge talks about starring in and producing the crime drama “Cross”, what he should be known for as an actor and producer, and his commitment to encouraging diverse narratives through his production work. Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first played him in 1997’s “Kiss the Girls” and the 2001 film sequel “Along Came a Spider”, and Tyler Perry in the title role in 2012’s “Alex Cross”, which flopped at the box office and prompted Lionsgate to cancel the planned sequel “Double Cross”.

“Cross” is a new Prime series based on the novels by James Patterson. He is a very underrated actor, I’ve always enjoyed his work.
Don’t listen to the negative reviews, this is a very solid series
Yes, this series may be a little different from the novels, but you shouldn’t compare them. It starts off slow for the first few episodes, but then it picks up and gets better as the season goes on.
In my opinion, Aldis is the perfect choice for Alex Cross
Many will disagree, but I think this is the best adaptation of Cross we’ve seen so far. It’s a very entertaining series and I hope it gets renewed for a second season!
