Plus, Gaga talks about how she got into and stayed with her dark persona
Tale
Struggling with his dual identity, failed comedian Arthur Fleck meets the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital. Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson and writer-director Todd Phillips talk about what scared them most about the musical sequel. . The subtitle of the film “Folie a Deux” means "The Madness of Two" in French This initially led to speculation about the appearance of Harley Quinn in the film, which was soon confirmed.
It is also known as Lasègue-Falret syndrome
The name Folie a Deux comes from the 19th century French psychiatrists Charles Lasègue and Jules Falret. The term was coined to describe two or more people who share the same folly or delusion. The president of the jury talks about "People of New York" instead of Gotham City. This is because New York State is the prosecutor in the criminal case, and this version of Gotham City is apparently located in New York State (most versions of Gotham are in New Jersey).

I was nervous when I saw the trailer, but now that I’ve seen it, I wish I wasn’t
I really enjoyed the first Joker movie directed by Todd Phillips, but I have to say what the hell were they thinking when they decided to make a sequel. Unlike the first film, this one has virtually no story, just a series of weird illusory vignettes interspersed with musical scores that got old very quickly and stretched the duration to the point where it wasn’t very interesting. Joaquin Phoenix gives a decent performance, but is nowhere near as good as he was in the first film. I was looking forward to it, thinking it must be building up to some big moment, which unfortunately never comes, and instead I’m left with only disappointment as the film ends worse than it started.
If you’re a fan of the first movie, it really matters whether you like this movie or not, but I wouldn’t recommend it
